As an e7 Mentor, you are not simply supporting a participant—you are helping develop a generation of confident, capable and purpose-driven young women who can contribute to their communities and shape the future of the UAE.
Through regular check-ins, meaningful conversations and constructive feedback, mentors provide the guidance participants need to navigate challenges, stay accountable and grow into confident women leaders and changemakers.
Effective communication and continuous feedback are at the heart of successful mentorship. They help build trust, encourage personal and professional growth, and create an environment where participants feel supported throughout their journey.
By staying actively engaged, mentors help ensure that every community project moves forward with clarity, collaboration and purpose, while remaining aligned with e7 Banat Al Emarat’s mission of empowering young women and creating positive social impact across the UAE.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Our mentors serve as trusted advisors, helping each young woman transform her potential into purpose and ideas into action, while supporting the development of confident women leaders and changemakers across the UAE.
As an e7 Mentor, you contribute to a shared national priority: empowering the next generation of ambitious women to develop their capabilities, lead meaningful initiatives and create positive social impact.
Your role is to guide, support and encourage participants as they design and implement their team projects.
Share your Expertise
Help participants deepen their knowledge in areas relevant to their community projects. This may include connecting them with individuals, experts, or networks that can directly support their goals and enhance project outcomes.
Consistent Communication
Maintain regular, open communication to help participants stay on track, reflect on their progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
Goal Setting and Milestone Tracking
Work with participants to define clear, realistic objectives from the start including at least one tangible community-focused goal. Conduct regular check-ins (every three months) to review progress and ensure goals remain measurable and achievable.
Progress Reporting
Provide timely updates to the e7 mentoring team regarding the participant’s progress, achievements, and any support needs that arise throughout the mentorship cycle.
Building Professional and Hybrid Skills
Support the participant in developing key skills such as public speaking, time management, organization, leadership, accountability, and team coordination essential for personal growth and effective project delivery.
Challenging Growth
Encourage participants to step outside of their comfort zones, think critically, and push their own boundaries to achieve meaningful, sustainable results.
Encouraging Sisterhood
Foster a spirit of collaboration, mutual support, and shared purpose among participants. Empower young women to support one another, embrace diverse perspectives, and build strong bonds that reinforce a lasting sense of belonging and community.
Expanding Networks
Assist participants in building a network of professional relationships that align with their project needs or future aspirations. Where applicable, introduce opportunities for collaboration, learning, and implementation support.
